Hello, My Name is Alvin Smith, I am the British Inventor and Owner of the Patented SEA~RYSER  Wave & Sea Swell and Gravity Powered Pump, which could supply Renewably Pumped Storage of Seawater to drive Pelton Hydro Electric Turbine Generators on shore producing on demand Hydro Electricity and could supply Seawater for Aquaculture, Leisure Facilities, coastal Fire suppression, it may be possible to construct a very High Pressure SEA~RYSER for desalination purposes.

My aim has always been, to design and construct a pump to be, efficient, sustainable in the marine environment, to be a simple device, and to use no oils or electrics at sea, and of course to use natural Renewable Energy to power it, in this case, Sea Waves, Sea Swell, and Gravity.

I believe I have now achieved all of these in the SEA~RYSER design as will be shown in the video.

The electrics required for generation are housed ashore, along with available Hydro Powered Impulse Pelton Turbine Generators which could be connected to the local Grid.

The Hydraulic fluid is seawater at its natural temperature, seawater is used as the lubrication of the pump as in the cooling system pumps and propulsion shafts of thousands of marine vessels, the seawater intake on this SEA~RYSER prototype is screened to no more than 5mm squared mesh, it could be even a smaller sized mesh.

The SEA~RYSER system is modular and can be incrementally added to when demand requires this.

The SEA~RYSER can be “relatively” cheap to build as it is such a simple design and can be mass produced, there are very few parts, in fact just 5 are moving parts on the pump, and just 4 could be moving parts at the mooring coupling.

Hydro Power is extremely efficient in turning a force into desired rotation to rotate machinery. Nature forms hydro power storage when one drop of rain amalgamates with surrounding water, until a puddle forms, lake or reservoir, water actually forms constantly the Cleanest Batteries in the world. 

When that lake or reservoir is at a high location, water falling from these, actually speeds up naturally due to gravity. When controlled at the base of a penstock pipe, you have natural energy as water pressure that will revolve machines such as Pelton Impulse Turbines, and nature has provided that useful renewable power scalable from amalgamating water molecules. Renewably Pumped Storage of water at a height opens up opportunities, for on demand power.

SEA~RYSER avoids the use of a Dam to collect water, why, because it pushes water uphill, it does not collect water from streams, or rivers, which flow downhill, it pumps it up to suitable high locations.

SEA~RYSER possibly imitates what clouds do every day, they lift seawater from the sea by collecting evaporating water, SEA~RYSER does it by pumping the water using only Renewable Energy.

SEA~RYSER uses the seas motion, wave & swell energy and gravity to lift seawater itself to a height. 

Great; more electricity can be generated from probably the worlds Cleanest Battery, Stored Water at a Height. The UK is made up of Islands, with miles of coastline, a perfect location for Renewable Wave Powered Pumped Storage, it can use existing Power supply Grids instead of having to bring new supplies from giant Power stations.
